About Us
Richland Area Softball Association, RASA, is a community-based organization started in 2008 to provide the area with girls’ youth softball. The focus of our youth programs is to provide a positive environment where sportsmanship, skills development, and teamwork are taught and encouraged. We continue to offer Spring Recreation and Fall Developmental League for girls from 5 to 12 years old and participate in the Valley Intermural Girls Softball (VIGS) for girls 13 – 19. For players looking to move to a higher level our PA Panthers travel teams offer the opportunity of high-level instruction and competitive play. Our facility is one of the best in eastern Pennsylvania with 6 softball fields including 4 with lights for extended use. Our facility also offers a fully equipped concession stand and full restroom facilities.
In addition to our youth programs RASA facilities also host all Quakertown Community High School home games (Varsity and Junior Varsity), a multi-team locally based women’s league, Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Division II playoffs, and multiple regional travel softball tournaments including being the main or satellite facility for many of eastern Pennsylvania’s most recognized college showcase tournaments.
With the help and support of our local community we look forward to continuing to serve our young women into the future.
